Robin II
Robin Z was a winner in Germany in 1993 and 1994. From 1995, ridden by Thomas Velin, he achieved several prestigious results in international competitions, including:
1st place in the Grand Prix at the CSIO in Helsinki in 1996
In 1997, 1st place in a high-level international class and in the Nations Cup at the CSIO Helsinki
1st place in the Grand Prix of Weilheim
He went on to earn numerous wins and placings at:
CSIO Falsterbo, CSI Bartahus, CSI Munich, CSI Hamburg, CSIW Gothenburg and Oslo, CSIO Rome, and more.
The sire, Ramiro, produced an incredible number of international winners and world-famous stallions, and for years topped the international rankings as the sire of show jumping champions.
Among his offspring we remember: Ratina Z, team gold and individual silver medalist at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, winner of the World Cup in 1993, and team gold medalist at the 1994 World Championships; Rinnetou Z, a major CSIW and CSIO winner; Rasputin Z, Lucinda IV, Ramira, Robin Z I, Ramzes…, all international winners.
The dam of Robin Z, ALPHA Z, also produced Robin Z I, the full brother of Robin Z born in 1982. Robin Z I was a top international winner and for many years the leading sire of winners in Sweden; he sired Utfors Mynta, team silver and 4th individually at the 2002 World Championships; H&M Butterfly Flip, team silver at the 2002 WEG and a CSIO competitor; Rochette, Regina III, and many more.
