SATISFACTION I

Approved for Breeding: Hannover, Selle Français (SF), Westfalen, Swedish Warmblood (SWB), SI

General Information

The legendary Hanoverian sire Stakkato has left an indelible mark on international show jumping breeding, and Satisfaction stands as one of his most distinguished sons. Renowned for transmitting exceptional scope, reflexes, and competitive mentality, Stakkato’s influence is clearly evident in Satisfaction’s pedigree and performance.

Satisfaction’s dam, Cecile (by Calypso II), further elevates this pedigree. She proved to be an extraordinary broodmare, producing no fewer than five international show jumpers, all full siblings to Satisfaction. Among them are Argelith Sambuca, successfully campaigned by Marco Kutscher, and Spimex, ridden at international level by Elisabeth Kruse, underscoring the exceptional consistency of this dam line.

Under the saddles of Ludger Beerbaum and Marco Kutscher, Satisfaction excelled at the highest level of the sport, demonstrating power, carefulness, and reliability in elite international competition. His demanding sport career, however, meant that he was used selectively for breeding, resulting in a relatively limited number of offspring.

Despite this, Satisfaction’s progeny are already making a significant impact on the international stage, confirming his ability to pass on top-level sport qualities. His most prominent offspring to date is Sinfonie 168, winner of the Dubai World Cup, among other major victories, ridden by Vladimir Tuganov. With multiple offspring progressing successfully in international sport, Satisfaction is clearly establishing himself not only as an exceptional performer, but also as a sire of lasting influence in modern show jumping breeding.
