Breeder: August Meyer
Stakkato is a Hanoverian stallion celebrated for his extraordinary jumping talent, impeccable technique, and influential pedigree. Born on April 4, 1993, at August Meyer’s farm in Uenzen, Germany, he was raised by Andreas Mundt and presented at the stallion licensing in 1995, where his exceptional ability quickly caught attention.
His pedigree blends the top jumping bloodlines of Servus and Gotthard on the sire’s side, with his dam, Pia, demonstrating elite jumping ability herself, scoring a perfect 10 in her mare performance test.
Stakkato caused a sensation at the 1998 Bundeschampionate, nearly earning a perfect 10 for his style and technique. He went on to be named Hanoverian Stallion of the Year 2000. Purchased by Dr. Burchard Bade for the Celle State Stud, he excelled in his stallion performance test, becoming the best jumper.
In competition, Stakkato won the Jumping Championship at the Bundeschampionate in 1998, placed reserve champion in 1999, and later claimed the German Championship in the Ladies’ Division under Eva Bitter. He represented Germany in Nation’s Cup events, including a second-place finish at the prestigious Nörten-Hardenberg Grand Prix in 2007.
Renowned for passing on athleticism, careful technique, and competitive spirit, Stakkato remains a highly influential stallion in show jumping breeding programs worldwide.
